What I'm talking about here is the dash in an obituary or on a headstone. For example 1960-2008. The dash between the beginning and the end 1960 dash 2008. That's what's important in life , the dash. By dash , I don't neccessarily mean it has to be fast , as a matter of fact , it's like making love , it's better if it's slow. You tend to get all wrapped up in school , grades , job , career , the right mate that sometimes you forget about what's really important in life.The Dash. Life isn't a game or a play , it's a struggle , especially in this economic landscape that we find ourselves planted in today. It's not the roman candle that fizzles out so bright and fast , it's the sparklers that just seem to go on forever burning into peoples' memories of the dash.
