Still Nothing

I have heard nothing from CBSSports as to why my blog was removed by the administrator. Until that happens, and realistically, it looks like the little speck that my blog is, I won't be back. I would relly like to know what was so horrible, that it had to be censored?

The Title of this Blog Entry

The title of this blog entry is "This post removed by the administrator". I don't remember the post that was removed by the administrator, but I can't imagine that it was filthy to the point of pornographic. I don't know why it was censored, no message was sent to me, I am just now finding out that it was censored. Why? My blog is about life, my life , and the lessons that I've learned along the way. What possible thing did I blog about that was so horrible, that the large huge entity that is CBSSports found it so repulsive that they had to protect America from it's contents.

This blog, which was a private joy for me is over, until somebody from CBSSports lets me know what I wrote that was so terrible.

June 2010

Here we are in the 90* heat of the summer in Cincinnati. I know there are a lot of places much hotter than Cincinnati. For those of you that have followed this blog and have missed it , I'm sorry, I've been busy selling cars. I'm working at a new Mazda Dealership and having a blast.
My son finished his freshman year in college with a B average and and All- Conference Honorable Mention in his sport, Varsity Tennis and I couldn't be more proud. His summer job is working at The Salvation Army till school starts in the fall.
My wife is still at the same job as before and not really any happier because she is being foiled in her attempts to move up to a better job in the same college.
On a happier note , it's almost halfway through fantasy baseball season and my thirteen teams are for the most part in contention. I just signed up for 2 Commishioner Fantasy Football Teams and 1 College Commishioner Fantasy Football Team and am looking forward to the drafts and planning for those events. In my opinion the draft is the highlight of the fantasy season , particularly if it's a live draft. The byplay between all the owners is priceless. One of my leagues this will be the 12th year together with only minor personell changes. It's time for me to sign off. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed writing. Remember my mantra , slow down and look around , smell the roses

A Brand New Year

Here we are on the eve of the BCS National Championship Game and I'm still reeling from the Cincinnati v Florida debaucle . It looks like Alabama on paper should win , but the game isn't played on paper , it's played on one of the biggest stages in sports .

The holidays are in the rearview mirror and I' m pretty happy about it . I like the holidays and all , but they are so stinkin commercialized these days . We just got 7" of snow today and it's still snowing .

My son goes back to college in 3 more days , he lives in the dorm , I will miss him again .I wish him the best .

I am a car salesman and the franchise that I was working for is closing , but another franchise is moving in and I'll be selling for them . I was selling Chevrolets for 11 years , but that dealership closed  , thanks GM and Obama . In another month I'll be selling Mazdas . I've been studying and testing all about Mazdas because we all have to be certified to sell new Mazdas . Zoom ... Zoom ...Forever....

The Bengals are in the playoffs.     Wait did you see what I wrote ?     The Bengals are in the Playoffs .    The last Bengals playoff win was before my College age son was born . Go Bengals !

Enjoy your life ....look around .....don't always take the highway , take some back roads .....slow down. Hug your kids , hug your mom , tell your dad you love him , tell your wife you love her . Live life .

Brian Kelly Gone

I gotta be honest here , Brian Kelly broke a lot of hearts here in Cincinnati yesterday when he took the Notre Dame job . We all feel a little bit used . It kind of reminds me of when the Irsays left Baltimore in the middle of the night in their Mayflower moving vans with the Colts franchise that would soon become the Indianapolis Colts . It hurts , I know I know it's the way coaches change jobs these days , well it stinks .

Coaches shouldn't be allowed to leave anymore than a student-athlete can leave without sitting out a year . Coaches should have to sit and watch both teams for a year , the team they are leaving and the team that they are going to . Coaches wouldn't be nearly as quick to bolt before their contracts were over . Contracts , now there is an interesting concept . What good are they if they are no longer adhered to ? Shouldn't there be some enforcement of their precepts ?

That's an entirely different blog , this blog is supposed to be about the dash between the years of birth and death . Slow down and smell the coffee , smell the roses , look at the clouds , hug your kids , and so on all the stuff that we tend to forget to do because we are too busy living what we think is life . I ramble , thanks for reading , please feel free to leave a comment !

Seasons !

Here we are at the 2nd of November just after the conclusion of the 1st week of fantasy basketball , almost halfway through fantasy football season and at the start of the last 2 weeks of college fantasy football season . Whew a lot to keep up with , but I'm havin a blast .
The Bengals are 5-2 . the Football Bearcats are 8-0 and in 5th in the latest BCS rankings . I really don't see the Bearcats getting into the BCS Championship Game even if they should win out , but it's been fun just being mentioned in the same sentence with the Floridas and the Alabamas and the Texases and this year it looks like we're the best College Football Team in Ohio . That in and of itself has been awesome this year !
Well back to work , yes I am back to work selling cars and loving every minute of it . I was driving myself crazy sitting around the house recuperating from my Total Knee Replacement , but alas all is well and I'm back .
God Bless all who wished me well and remember the Number 1 rule of Fantasy Sports , HAVE FUN !

Back to Work

I've been out of work on short term disability since July 7th and it has not been a bit of fun. I've had my total knee replacement surgery and I am hungry to get back to work. I'm a car salesman and I need my knees. The past 2 plus months have been full of pain , physical therapy , and boredom.

I would have gone bonkers without the Fantasy Baseball season and the preparations for the College Fantasy Football Drafts and Season and Pro Fantasy Football Drafts and Season. I made the playoffs in 3 of my Fantasy Baseball Leagues, we'll see how I do. I really enjoy Fantasy Baseball much more than I thought I would , more even than Pro Fantasy Football. My reasoning on that assessment was based on the fact that there are games every night or day and that is awesome !

My Cincinnati Football Bearcats are 3-0 in this young season and ranked 14th in the country. Coach Brian Kelly is running his spread offense with Quarterback Tony Pike to perfection. It's been fun so far , they've got the Bulldogs of Fresno St this Saturday at noon. GO BEARCATS !

I have been cleared to go back to work October 1st. I don't know at this moment where I'll be selling but I hope I'm busy.

Remember this isn't just a race it's a dash. Smell the coffee , look at the clouds , but most importantly , love your children , they won't always be young , my son just turned 19 last Saturday . He grew up fast ...Really fast.
